Prior to this appointment, Anne Durkin (pictured) served as head of reinsurance at AIG Life, joining the provider in 2007 as a pricing actuary. In the past, she’s also worked as a senior actuarial analyst at Royal Liver Assurance, and actuarial assistant at Entegria Hogg Robinson.
As head of reinsurance at Aviva, Anne will be responsible for its protection reinsurance for both the individual and group business – including the former AIG Life business now known as Aviva Protection UK Ltd (APUK).
This is a newly created role in recognition of the overall scale of the Aviva protection business and the importance of reinsurance to Aviva’s strategic ambitions.
