Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Ipswich, England-based firm has been writing insurance in East Angelia for the last 40 years and is a highly respected business with strong links in the business community. WM Brokers Ltd specialises in SMEs, especially haulage.
David McGowan and Toni Vincent-Panich will remain at the helm, directing WM Brokers Ltd alongside their fellow general insurance colleagues. Outgoing director Julie Dyer will also remain with the business for several months to ensure a seamless transfer.

Bruce continued that GRP had previously stated their intention to “trade across the whole of England and Wales, as well as Northern Ireland” and that the acquisition of WM Brokers Ltd is an important next step in achieving this nationwide coverage for the group.
