"It’s clear that many people are being affected by the cost-of-living crisis, so we aim to ensure they continue to have access to the vital safety net that insurance provides by offering a simple and flexible product that suits both their needs and their budgets."
- Tara Foley, AXA UK Retail chief executive

Moja has been developed for smartphone and tablet use and is initially available on both mojainsurance.co.uk and comparethemarket.com for motor insurance. AXA UK plans to launch a wider rollout across price comparison websites later this year.

Although Moja currently only engages with motor insurance, by 2023 the digital brand will include other insurance products aside from car coverage.

The digital service includes features such as round-the-clock online policy management and claim lodgement to assist customers “who live their lives through their smartphone or tablet.”

Commenting on the launch, Tara Foley, AXA UK Retail chief executive, has said:

“This is a momentous occasion for AXA Retail as it’s the first time we’ve launched a new brand that has been developed entirely in-house. We want Moja to shake up the insurance market by providing a digital-only offering for people who live their lives through their smartphone or tablet.”
