Prof. Marcantonio Spada is the Co-Founder & Non-Executive Director (NED) of Addiction Aware. In the past, he’s worked as Prof. of Addictive Behaviours & Mental Health and Dean of the School of Applied Sciences at London South Bank University. He remains Emeritus Prof. of Addictive Behaviours & Mental Health at the university.
In recognition of his work, the British Psychological Society and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies have awarded him a fellowship.
Marcantonio joins Onebright’s Executive Board, leading the delivery and governance of the company’s clinical services. Onebright assesses, treats, and supports over 60k clients annually via clinical assessors, therapists, and a national network of more than 3k clinicians.
His appointment will enable Onebright to continue improving access to treatment and outcomes from existing clinical pathways. He’ll also assist with the development of new specialist pathways.
Marcantonio said having worked with Onebright for many years it feels a “natural step for me to take on the position. I look forward to this new chapter and supporting our clinicians to treat a range of mental health conditions and deliver life changing outcomes.”
